officer; or disorderly conduct. Also, a conviction of an offense that the Cener determines is a contraindication to employment or

Position works under the supervision
of the Medical Director, and is responsible for providing psychiatric and
physical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of clientele in
accordance with MH Community Standards, Commissioner’s Rules, BNE guidelines
for scope of APN practice, Medicaid standards, and all other applicable
department rules and regulations.
Responsibilities also include documentation of daily service records
that support the community MH record system, as well as the reimbursement and
CARE systems. Position functions as a
member of the clinical treatment team, and coordinates treatment modalities. Also authorizes all treatment plans,
consults with other clinical staff on difficult cases, participates in
quality assurance activities, and acts as liaison with other community
providers. Minimum Qualifications: Physician position requires licensure to
practice medicine in the State of Texas, plus three years of licensed medical
practice. Or, successful completion of
an approved residency training in two specialties with certification by at
least one specialty member’s board of the American Board of Medical
Specialties or equivalent body. The
Nurse Practitioner position requires a Master’s degree in Nursing from an
accredited college or university, plus current Texas licensure as a
Registered Nurse and board certification as an Advanced Psychiatric Nurse
Practitioner with prescriptive privileges and four (4) years of work
experience as an RN in a recognized health care facility. OR, a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an
accredited college or university, plus current Texas licensure as a

this process, the position will serve as a peer mentor, will advocate for the
education of families, and will strive to build effective interaction between
public agencies, youth/adolescents, families, and community. The position will provide information
related to due process rights and resources to link with community support
systems; aid in problem solving for effective interaction with public
agencies; and support to parents in their achievement of personal goals that
will improve the outcomes for their children.
Some travel required. Minimum Qualifications: Requires
eighth grade reading comprehension level as evidenced by score on the Adult
Basic Learning Exam (ABLE), or one semester (12 semester hours) of accredited
